Richard,
I am posting my reply directly back to your blog post because I don't want to take this discussion to my personal page and out of the public view. Here is the comment you posted to my member page:
Geneva: Are (you) of the belief that ANY o…
I am a woman who believes in peaceful coexistence and respectful discourse. When we write our opinions in a public forum versus sitting down together and talking face to face, our communication lacks tone of voice and body language. So as you read t…
Desire, I know you weren't calling me a racist. But, recently there's been an on-air attitude at CNN that anyone opposed to "health care reform" is a racist. That's not a good feeling. There's been an on-air attitude at FOX that anyone who supports…

To our American eyes, the little girl and the woman are of European descent. Look more closely, they are Thai. This is a Thai product and a Thai commercial.
To our American egos, this is a commercial about o…
Interesting that you should say "Women over 50 particularly can't get insurance" because I am a woman over fifty. I buy my own medical insurance, so I understand. It's not easy to get and it is very expensive, and there was a time I didn't have it a…
Wow, Abdel. I am white and I do not feel that way. Many, many white people voted for Obama, and they do not feel that way. Personally, I believe that all peoples of all races are descended from one man and one woman who were created and lived in wha…
Desire, May I voice my disagreement without being labeled a racist? It's easy to say this is a race issue. Feels that way, because far and away more of the uninsured are African American and Hispanic than white. It could also be called a class issue…
Richard,
I was just getting ready to add more to my first comment because it was too long to post all at once, but decided to answer you first.
I am not saying there shouldn't be more regulation of the industry, but I do object to some of what is…
OK. I think I get it. I think I get why some people think it's repulsive, why some people think it's funny, why some people think it's sad. This commercial pushes a whole lot of buttons, and how you react is all about your unique perspective.
My po…
There are 305 million people in this country. We spend $2.2 trillion each year on medical expenses and lots of medical issues go untreated, so it should be more. That's $600 per month for every man woman and child. Many insurance companies support u…
Geneva: Are of the belief that ANY of the 911 conspirators were ever identified as Iraqi? None were and I have checked about every source there is. The same is true for Afghans.... there was some diatribe about how the elected government of Afghanistan (Taliban) was knowledgeable that Osama was "in their country and they did nothing about it." and similar, but really:
If the huge military invasion of Iraq, which displaced millions, destroyed their entire country and killed somewhere from 100,000 to 200,000 Iraqis was misplaced "blood vengeance" then who is responsible for this human tragedy?
The 911 conspirators were mostly from Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Algeria, Morocco and Pakistan to my knowledge. I never heard of any Afghani peoples being involved either. So what was the motivation of our Congress and Senate to invade and destroy those countries? As you stated, Congress supported it all .........why?
Who benefited and who lost?
Richard
All of this appears to be in direct conflict with your stated philosophy of "peaceful co-existance" and "respectful discourse". Thus, it would seem you should logically be opposed to the Bush Administration (GOP) and it's backers who support unjustifiable wars; and FOR change as expressed and committed to by O'Bama.
There isn't much wiggle room here - either one supports huge multi-hundred billion dollar wars of an unjustifiable nature or one does not.
Barrack said he doesn't, but we as a nation are doing it again. Who is in control? Why do we as a nation continue to do things that we as voters don't want? These are the questions and issues that MUST be addressed and rather quickly before we lose all control as voters and citizens.

As I promised I've added a little more clarity to the reason why I believe the Black Movement has been killed by the "Black" Obama. I make a point of Obama's "Blackness" because I believe it has silenced the voice of the "Black" working class. Let…
Again a Chester resident is shot by a stray bullet in Chester but this time it is fatal. Here name was Kathy Stewart. I'm tired, I'm disgusted... I'm hopeless.

Margie Paez What brings me here is that I am very interested in knowing what is up with our country and I like hearing it from Desire.
While you all sit back and blindly follow your so-called “Republican Leaders”, let me remind you what your so-called republican leaders have done.
They have sold out your children’s education to the highest bidder and have raised your taxes to…

I first started partaking of your posts beginning with the Cambridge incident. I agree with almost none of what you say, except that BHO is an elitist fraud. However you do provoke thought within the "argument" so I joined ghetto print network to ch…
